The night of reunion

I never knew there's something called march holiday.. So busy everyday in the holidays that it wouldn't be apt to be called a holiday at all.

So.. School has been fun, had mural painting on the last day of school at block 333 with 1319 :D yay. Pretty murals, had a blast with my class as well, it feels we are all getting more and more united :) after mural painting, we went to buy floorball sticks :) FINALLY GOT MY OWN STICK, can't wait to perform wonders with it~

So, the 'holidays' came. Spent my Saturdays and Sundays mostly completing homework.

Monday- went to complete AA project with my group mates :) proud to be the first to complete it ! :D although we sent half a day, it was good and fun :) great Job guys! Finally done with the troublesome project. Man. I wonder how would project work be..... Had floorball PT that day too. And I felt unwell, ran slow :( must improve!!

Tuesday- went back to school for the pre university seminar emcee training :) proud to be the 20+ people chosen for this prestigious event :D 20+ In the whole of Singapore :) yay xD learnt ALOT from that session. So interesting! :D

Wednesday- had emcee training again! And I must say its very insightful :) yet I had to forgo floorball training since it clashed with the emcee training which is the priority :( floorball training at republic poly! And I heard the court was Daebak! Seems like I have to wait for next time... Wednesday is the best day of my life as celebrated our 1 year anniversary and also her birthday :) It's great <3

Thursday- floorball training! Fun and exciting :D

Friday- went for campfire camp with my scouts gang. BROTHERSS :D

Saturday- that would probably be the last campfire we are gonna have as a gang . It wasn't all that much fun to be honest due to various reasons but it was a good time to catch up with my gang, seniors, and even juniors, Who hates me as I always shout at them :p I love my batch of scouts :D zai-est in Zhonghua history :D

Sunday- so... School is gonna start! Completed homework :) but not revision. Kinda screwed for the parties :p thus today is revision day!!! School again.. 3 more months until we can take a short breather again...

ISLE Selection Camp

That's really one of the best camps I have ever attended. it was so meaningful. Came with nothing, left with a vase filled with experiences. Although not everyone of us would be selected, the friendships formed would definitely stay with us.

On the first day, my group was bonded quite quickly, which was awesome! Considering there was only 9 people In our team, its quite easy to bond anyway. Thus YOLO 7 was formed :p played games, had fun and a lot of facilitation which was essential. We also did some lesson plan and had to execute it under a given circumstance. For me, my group was supposed to teach englsih and the condition given was that the children did not understand English. It was very very very annoying I would say, but we have to be able to change our plan and fit the condition, well done everyone :)

Then, games and activities. Getting shouted at by seniors and being pressurized. It has been so long since I have experienced this.. The last time was like in secondary 2? Cos after that, I'm the one shouting at them :p evil me. But yeah, it was sorta of situation which stirred up alot of negative emotions. Ofcourse, all this is just a stimulation, the seniors are very good :) they even asked why didn't we like shout at them back and bear a grudge. Well, it's an activity, furthermore got used to It because of scouts. Life is so short, why hate? It requires alot of energy. After that, We slept at 11.30! Woohoo, so awesome. Not to mention there was aircondition :) swee~

Woke up at 7.30 today!! So awesome sia. Then breakfast, clean up and the main activity of the camp. Which requires ALOT ALOT ALOT of perseverance, teamwork and coordination.
1) person A to run back and forth of parade square with 2 touch rugby balls.
2) person A pick up netball and throw to person B
3) person B Throw to person C who would attempt to shoot it into the hoop
4) person D would then attempt, but only with 1 try
5) person E and F would then do 20 push-ups and person G and H would do 20 jumping backs. All must be synchronized.
6) person I,J And K would then proceed with 20 skipping, all synchronized
7) person L and and M would then turn on the spot 10 times and then answer a question
8) lastly, person A would run the length of the parade square

ALL IN 100 seconds! And!!! If any part goes wrong, RESTART FROM START.

It was a super mind wrecking and physical activity. Did like a total of 300+ push-ups? And like running the length of the parade square. But proud to say we completed it In 97s! Which is a very commendable effort by everyone. DAEBAK! After restarts and restarts and restarts, we finally managed to do it :) GROUP 15 <3

With all the fun over, it's time to study once more... Sigh

The Beginning

First Lectures have started.

First trials have started.

JC life has officially started.

Lets recap~

So.. Chinese New Year visiting was cool. Met relatives and friends alike. Collected lots of angpaos and yeah. Happy :) Most importantly was the time I had talking with my relatives, been so long since we really sat down and just talked. 

First lectures were really a surprise. It was totally on a whole new level, more independent and self directed. Took me a while to get used to the style of lectures, man... secondary school teachers are so so good. For those still in secondary school, dont take your caring teachers for granted! Ofcourse, this doesnt mean JC teachers aren't caring. Its just the way of doing things. I'm so indulged in zhonghua's protective culture that this is a huge culture shock for me. Its so different from zhonghua on all levels. No more spoon feeding. Ought to grow up and be independent. 

Maths was tough! I had to re-read my notes after the lectures to just get what the teacher was teaching. Chemistry is cool, first lecture on Valentines. Physics was much more of a recap and Project Work is awesome. Hope the lecturer is my tutor! *prays* he is cool! Economics was a tad boring to be honest, but well, I believe it would get interesting! Just read the lesson notes and it seems intriguing. Looking forward to the next economics lecture!

Oh, had floor ball trials too! And.. it was tough! 50 counts of 8 of buddah clap and 12minutes of shuttle run! Been so long since I exercised. NO MORE TIME TO LAY BACK AND RELAX! Nevertheless, I still want to enter floorball! Hopefully I get accepted. 2 more trials! I can do this! Gonna go for handball trials next week too though, a back up plan I dont wish to activate.

So yeah. That kinda concludes my week :p. Kinda sad I wasnt able to meet you on valentines. But its okay! Theres always time :)

5 days of orientation isnt enough!!

So yea. Orientation has ended and today is Chinese New Year Eve. Cant help but feel a twinge of sadness that orientation ended as I had a blast with my Orientation Group mates, leaders and even people from other groups and families. Really fortunate to be blessed with such an awesome OG and OGLs. Although the first day was awkward for many of us, we persisted and became good friends at the end of 5 days. My OG really bonded throughout all the games and activities held for us. Orientation was such a blast that I may consider becoming an Orientation Group Leader for next year's Orientation. Jaser 7 rocks!!! Well, Im currently suffering from Orientation withdrawal syndrome. Cheers stuck in my head. Geez

Day 1 WAS AWKWARD. But thankfully our OGLs tried to hype up the atmosphere, though to no avail. Played many icebreaker games and introduction blabla. Then, I had stomach flu and was unable to attend day 2 :( but nevetheless day 3 was good! Everyone bonded and I fit in comfortably even though I did not bond with them on day 2.

Went to Marina Bay to play games, although the weather wasnt good and we only managed to play a couple of games, we bonded as an OG during that time. Playing games, embarrassing forfeits and talking rubbish, making us closer! OH, we also saw the Ah Boys to Man cast, rehearesing for some performance xD. Overall, its a cool day.

The next day was CCA bazaar. Chose Floorball and interact club. Hopefully I get into floorball though! Oh the mass dance was awesome! Paired up with a girl from Jaser 8 since we both didnt have a partner in our own OG. It was cool! Though I kinda regretted not talking much to her. FLOORBALL! HOPEFULLY I PASS THE TRIAL.

THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF ORIENTATION. DISCO NIGHT, WAR GAMES AND ALL! To sum it up, perfect. Had a blast with OG mates during retarded stuffs in the war games and tons of fun during the disco night! DANCE DANCE DANCE~ But too bad we didnt had a chance to dance our finale mass dance. :( Nevertheless the tutorial lessons were cool. OH YEAH. JASER WON! By right, we should win the cheer competition.. but we cant win all! give others a chance xD

Basically, that sums up my orientation. Although 5 days passed quickly, memories would stay, bonds would stay. We would still be a pround NYJCIAN :D

Half-Half

Thats how I feel about starting school.

My body clock is half screwed and I have totally not fixed it. Guess the first week of JC would be very tiring due to the lack of energy. Time to adjust my brain to study mood! Totally forgot most of the things I learnt in secondary school by letting my brain idle for 2 months without touching a single text book.

Also, JC life would be hectic, or so they say. I mean, its a new phrase in life. Thus, challenge accepted! No matter how tough it may be, live with it. Just 2 years and our 'A's would be over!

But, Im looking forward to making new friends! Break out of my comfort zone and establish new relations. Its tough for me, since Im not really the outgoing type of person, but I know it would be easier than in 2008, when I entered Zhonghua. Meeting my best friends to come in quite hilarious ways.

For yicheng, it was during the secondary one orientation camp, where we sit opposite each other during lunch time. I must say we both felt that each other was weird, who knew we would grow to be bosom friends.

The way I got to know Jian Ming was even better! He had curry sauce in his pants and he didnt know about it. Being a nice person, we told him and bam. Became good friends. SiongHang was abit later though, got to know him through scouts. Scouts is such a awesome CCA~

So yeah, New challenges, New people, a whole new experience. Adventurous. Much as I prefer living in my comfort zone, I guess its time to break out of the protective circle I laid around me and venture out into the unknown!

Pioneering~

Went for Scouts today and got Sunburnt. Well, partial Sunburn since my skin still feels very warm. Emitting radiation! Haven't felt like that for very long. Good old times in Scouts. Ahh.

So yeah, Scouts! :) Did Pioneering today! It has been so long since I touched a rope, much less say tying knots. I still hold the fastest square lash record of 33 seconds in ZhongHua yo! xD. But, I doubt I would be able to do that speed again though. I still can manage under one minute though. I believe xD. So yeah, did pioneering with the ventures to try out some suspending structure which requires so much brain power. ITS SO TOUGH TO SUSPEND THAT THING SIA! But, we are most probably able to do it. This year camp fire structure would be quite impressive though! Not saying anything :p

After a long morning at Scouts, went to Carls Jr with the ventures and sir to continue some discussion. Carls Jr was nice, but expensive and obviously fattening! I cant even finish the meal sia! Wonder how people finish such a big meal sia! Im so looking forward to next week's training! Running man yo xD. Being able to come back is another thing though since JC starts on Friday.Oh well, hopefully we can come though. Running Man!!!!

Sentosa~

So, today was a much more eventful day compared to others. Well, I only have about 1 more week to enjoy... since school is starting soon for me :( So, I should totally make my life more eventful. But ah well.

Okay, so, today is the pubbies and log secondary 4'2012 outing! Which was planned totally last minute as we scraped the ice skating. For obvious reasons, too far!!!! and EXPENSIVE. the greater hold back was mainly the distance. Met Sionghang at kovan as the girls wanted to eat Astons, and in the end, we didnt eat there.

Ate at food junction in NEX instead since Astons was crowded and we were to meet Jiajuen in Serangoon, thus, might as well. Jiajuen was obviously late. I mean, Thailand timezone, cant blame him. So, after lunch, we proceeded to Vivo and walked to sentosa. Jiajuen was like unable to talk. He was like playing charades with us, trying to guess what on earth he tried to said. SiongHang was most apt at that feat thou, earning himself a post as Jiajuen's interpreter!

Reached the beach and wrote PUBLOG on the sand, decorate it and poof. IT LOOKS AWESOME. Then, played at the beach, bla bla bla, beach activities, bla bla. which was just fun :) Nuff said.

That kinda concludes today, Fun and Cool. The best thing was to be able to meet up with friends and just have fun together :) Hope there would be another publog outing xD

Rainnnnnn

It has been raining for more than 16h since I post this.. Wow.

So, today went to scouts with phang and Chang and others :D talked about how JC life would be like And discussed the campfire programme, emcees and Tentative NPC team xD so, today was cold. But had fun talking I guess. I mean, there's nothing exciting really.

So, had macs for lunch, and now rotting at home :p gonna play NFSW with the gang later sad

That's how I would describe today. Short and sweet! Woke up today and did my JAE,before I totally forgot. That would like be the ultimate YOLO. Leave JAE blank and see where MOE puts you. I totally doubt anyone would try messing up their futures. so yeah, today, played badminton with the scouts gang!

Okay. Scouts gang sounds so cliche. lets call it, The YOLO. The YOLO. okay, doesn't make sense. Basically, The YOLO comprises of the scouts gang. Enough crap.

Played doubles with yicheng and sionghang, and paired with jianming. The awesome four. Okay. It was a really close fight, 21-19 , 19-21 and 21-19, if I'm not wrong. Then, played with sionghang and it was still very close!!! Then yeah. Saw sionghang wearing the new pub tee and I was like, WHAT?! WHERE IS MINE! The material is so... Nice.DAMN, I DEMAND MINE!>:

But yeah, badminton was thrilling! Then had pastamania, the counter staff wore this 'aren't you supposed to be in school face' well, we don't have a school yet! Waiting for results :D YOLO. had beef pastrami and saw cunan, clement, Gary and Gregory, they came to play badminton as well :D yay!

So, after lunch. Spilt up with the other part of scout gang, and went to play bowling. I WON! WOOHOO XD Then played Daytona again :D I totally could have won, if not for me and Chang trying to take each other out, sionghang benefitted from the farce we were making. Tsk xD NEXT TIME. and once again, yicheng keep ranting about me pushing him into a wall. Hey, you were in the way mate!

Then, FIFA-ED and played Texas poker! Learnt that in scouts chalet and now, love it! Yicheng was super lucky and won all the tiles. We didn't bet! Cause we are young :D thus, we played with mahjong tiles. I totally spoilt the market by doing an all in when I didn't have anything and caused sionghang and jianming to lose practically all their tiles. Then, played blackjack for fun. Fast and awesome xD kept spamming and spamming. MAN, CAN'T WAIT FOR CNY! GO CHANG HOUSE AND PLAY XD

Well, that kinda concludes my day. Fun. Can't wait to go out again!

Decisions. Decisions. Decisions

The dilemma of choosing a college is so great. TJC, AJC, NYJC or SAJC. Decisions... Well, although a college ain't everything, a good one makes it better. I'm really spoilt for choice, no idea where to go..

Well, today went to NYJC, AJC and TJC open houses. I have been out all day everyday! Typing this on my bus journey to Taekwondo.

NYJC had the most zhonghuarian feel, the vibrant wall colors, festive atmosphere and all. I mean. It was cool, homey, lively and fun. But I'm kinda afraid that I would not wanna study when I go there cause it seems too fun. Self control. Self discipline. I ain't exactly strong in those two areas. Well. NYJC is good. Near my house and all.

AJC campus was.. Well. Old I guess. It wasn't as vibrant as NYJC but it was cool. The atmosphere is more suited for academics and all. Moreover their forte is science. It's quite close to home, people are friendly. There's more human touch compared to NYJC. Hmm..

TJC was mind blowing. All I had in my head was wow. It was better than VJC open house. Feels very good, had the best feeling there basically. My only concern was that It is far from my home... And that TJC's forte is the arts, so Im going to be taking arts if I go there. Cause I have more interest in the arts and that the base of subjects is broader in arts. Distance is the key issue. But if I'm going, sionghang might be as well. I dunno. A longer journey for a better Junior college? probably.. But still. Impressed by TJC. Makes me want to be there alot. Next question to ask myself, uptake the humanities scholarship in TJC? maybe? Lit is the issue though...

So yeah, I wished MOE could give us Abit more time to choose our schools. I'm having a headache over which JCs to choose. Distance VS Quality.. Hmmm.... I'm still for TJC though.. Tough decisions. Tough.

1) chalet was a blast
2) chalet was the most expensive one so far
3) scouts and guides rock to the max
4) CZ12 was indeed a block buster
5) I did get 6 for Os after -CCA points
6) I'm gonna enter the next phase of my life

So yeah~  had scouts chalet from Monday to Tuesday and had a blast with awesome people! The most awesome in the school! Scouts and guides FTW! Met the awesome gang at pasir ris! And had lunch at whitesands, played jubeat on weijie's iPad and had a blast! Being a total noob at that game, obviously did badly. So yeah, bought stuffs at ntuc! Then went to chalet with yicheng stinking up the toilet almost immediately. Played card games then went bowling and watched a blockbuster movie after dinner at just Asia. The food was decent and that It was reasonably priced! I mean, about 8 excluding GST and service charge with unlimited drinks and ice cream. Drank the cappuccino, mocciato, root beer and had chocolate, strawberry, coffee and mango ice cream. Sugar rush TTM!
After that crazy dinner, watched CZ12... Crazily overpriced. 8.50+ an extra dollar because its a blockbuster movie... With 90% of the seats not filled. Wow! Blockbuster indeed. I always thought Cathay was the cheapest. But oh well, since we bought the tickets before reaching a common consensus, we watched. It's quite a good movie! Jackie chan is seriously the god of bullshit in the show xD it's really hilarious!!!!!!!!!

After movie, went back to chalet and learnt how to play Texas poker! Had a blast xD did pumpings and wow, the holidays were detrimental to our bodies! Everyone can't do pumpings like how we used to.

The nextday, everyone was tired due to the lack of sleep, nevertheless, had fun :D skip the bowling, lunch and other things. Main highlight was the running man !!!!!!! Had mini missions to get attack and defensive weapons for the final mission. And my team got the umbrella and plastic bombs. Quite decent actually. Explosive attack and also ultimate defense xD the final mission, me and Chang group worked together to take out the other group! Finally after a thrilling hour of running, living in anticipation and excitement and fear, the only ones left were me and chang's team. So we had a 1 versus 1 battle. Since chang's team had 2 people with bombs, meaning that after you tear the person, you get eliminated yourself, I asked sionghang to tackle weijie and yanyeng to tackle Natalie with junkai as a backup. Then I challenged Chang myself, so after a wet battle, only me, Chang and junkai were left. Chang was brutally outnumbered by awesome people xD woohoo! But, I killed junkai from the back! xD why? It was a spy mission and ofcourse I'm a spy along with Chang, the other 2 died xD but Ah well! I won :D we won! Actually what matters most is that we all enjoyed ourselves :D

Then went to open houses the next day xD

Then today. Received results!! I was freaking worried! When ms ho gave me my results, my hands were shaking so badly until I couldn't sign the paper properly!!! But nevertheless ! All As ! I mean I'm quite happy with my results, a little sad cause I can't enter VJC! But still, I have friends to accompany me! Time to open a scouts and guides running man club in JC! DAEBAK!

Thrilling and exciting

That concludes the two day secondary ones orientation camp 2013. Awesome. Enough said.

So Tired that I overslept today. Was supposed to go to school to help out with the secondary one orientation camp at 8am and totally woke up nearly 9.30am.. Damn. Guess I'm missing out the fun.. Ah well, there are other scouts activities anyways~

So.. I shall just recount what happened this awesome 2 days. No night. Cause it's just a sec one camp.


S1OC day 1! Woke up earlier than I ever woke up during the holiday. Ahh the good old school times. I wore PE to school, in hopes to blend in with the secondary ones but to no Avail cause they changed the PE attire. So ah well xD had lunch then went to see My class 1E3 with fellow facils :D they were okay and quiet I guess. Just like how we were in secondary 1. Now I know how our facils felt like xD so yea, cheer cheer cheer then Makan Makan then ice breakers then activities. I was station master in the amazing race and had fun talking all sorts of nonsense with Cassandra and Samantha, fellow station masters. Then had a briefing and that concludes my first day of camp! Had MOS burger with the awesome gang and reached home near 8. And slacked on my bedroom couch. I was so lazy to move cause my legs weren't gonna obey my commands easily. So I just texted like a boss! Then slept early.

S1OC day 2! A longggg day. Reached school at 7.15 again.. AHHHHH! Cause OT must reach earlier and Im like A OT/ FACIL. So yeah. Then we prepared the campfire stuffs and went out for 1.5h to get 2 high quality rags. 1 packet of chill padi and also a luminous lighter. We made the TNT. Out of 71 sparklers. It looks like the big tree in gardens by the bay when inverted xD so. We took good care of our tree. Then then then, we had some activities before setting up campfire xD walked pass the scouts who were in the amphitheater and yeah xD the bag of sand was really crazily heavy! Sionghang and me took turns to carry that monster bag of sand. Then we set up the campfire and threw chill padi. The chill padi god failed us.. Like 1h before campfire started it rained :( so we did the indoor campfire. Which was still as awesome, if not Equally awesome as compared to out door campfires. I mean the atmosphere was quite awesome despite it being indoors, hype, sing and shout xD 叶老师 was saying 'wow, I never knew there was this side of you' haha! Ofcourse I never showed it. The last time was during the scouts campfire. After indoor campfire, we went to show them the actual fire starting using sparklers. The high quality rag controlled the explosion really well and didn't burn up... It would be nicer if it was soaked longer.. Well, the secondary ones looked intrigued by it as well as the teachers, camp comm and parents. GO SCOUTS! This is the awesomeness of scouts xD

A new start.

So, it's officially 2013! And this is my first blog post of the year! Yay!

Saw fireworks today at the countdown party in sengkang! They are so gorgeous! Then wished my friends a happy new year and chatted till 2am before I went to bed. Woke up at 10am today! Latest timing I woke up at this holiday! Yoohoo xD speaking of which, I bet most people had their body clock screwed during the holidays, sleeping late and what not! Fear not, just feel extremely tired on the first day of school ;D well, thankfully I don't need to go school tomorrow! NO NEED TO LISTEN TO BORING TALKS UNTIL BUTT CRAMP! YAY XD I still have time to fix my body clock :D privilege of being a graduate awaiting results :)

so yeah, had ajisen tomyum dory fish ramen for lunch and it was splendid! The fish is very fresh and also the tomyum is Daebak!!!!!!!!!!!! :D I love the chicken wings best though~
Then, bought some fruits to make orange banana Yakut fruit juice at home later :)

Went home and watched anime and mine crafted before blogging :D

Well, it's quite a good start for 2013 I guess :) I hope this year would be great, bless everyone with good health and may friendships last forever :D
